Looks crazy. Busy from the road with all the cars and such. That said, they moved things along pretty quick. Really good food. Place. No indoor seating. There is some covered seating. The nachos could feed a family of four. Unless you have two teenage boys. Then you might need two. We got the loaded nachos right over half of it home.

Had 2 vegetarian Tacos. They were unreal. Has a choose your own salsa and sauce bar to top off your tacos and there are burritos and nachos too. Great service, friendly staff. Perfect for a drive by pull in.

If you're anywhere near this place for lunch or dinner, or at any point you're in the vicinity, stop by and get some tacos!! Such fresh authentic tacos, hand made wraps, amazing ingredients. The got pork, beef, chicken and vegetarian. Then you put the toppings, garnish on yourself buffet style, but add in moderation per the sign. If you're not hungry, get 2 tacos. If you're hungry or famished, get 3-4 tacos. They give you a buzzer that goes off when your meal is ready. Lots of seating in the back, you can watch the cattle in the pasture, lots of parking, a serene spot.

Absolutely loved my visit to Dessert Hills Ranch Farm Market! It’s such a wholesome spot with so much to offer. The farm market was full of fresh, vibrant fruits and veggies—perfect for anyone who loves local produce. The ice cream parlour was a total treat! I had the strawberry and cream and it was SO good—creamy, fruity, and super refreshing What made the experience even more special were the farm animals—adorable goats, ponies, and beautiful horses! It’s such a fun place to walk around, especially for families or anyone wanting a relaxing day out in nature. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. A perfect mix of tasty treats, fresh produce, and farm charm!

If you're craving a slice of Mexico right here in the heart of the BC Interior, Desert Hills taco stand in Cache Creek is where it’s at. Every year this place gets better—this time they’ve opened things up and the taco flow is even tighter. The staff? Absolute legends. Dancing around, smiling, moving with purpose, and somehow still managing to fill everyone's face holes with pure joy and goodness. The music’s pumping, the vibe is electric, and the food... unreal. Fresh, flavourful, and totally dialled in. This isn’t just a quick stop—it’s a destination. Five stars, no question.

Wow! I did not expect to find this authentic Mexican restaurant and market here! And to be this good! Wow! Great tasting food, great value, quick service, friendly staff, and a beautiful patio atmosphere! The only negative is that it can get super busy and they don't have many washrooms, so there is often a line! . Aside from that, this is a must stop! Highly recommend!

A must-stop gem on Highway 97, fresh, flavourful, and full of charm. Every time I’m passing through, I make it a point to stop at Desert Hills Ranch Farm Market, and it never disappoints. This place is more than just a roadside market, it’s a full-on food experience. The pork-belly tacos are my go-to: rich, crispy, and absolutely packed with flavour. What really sets it apart is the self-serve toppings bar, which is incredibly well-organized and fresh. You’ll find everything from multiple hot sauces and salsas to unique salad mixes and toppings that make your tacos exactly how you like them. It’s always for good reason, but service moves fast and the outdoor seating is perfect for taking a break and enjoying your food. Whether you're on a long drive or just passing through for a quick bite, Desert Hills Ranch is one of those authentic, delicious spots that makes the road trip memorable. Five stars, every time.

Will never be disappointed with a stop off at the Desert Hills taco stand! Although, at times, parking can be slightly overwhelming, it's worth the wait for a spot or the tight squeeze between cars. I have yet to experience a bad meal or bad takeaway experience from here! Again, the line on the inside can be daunting but always worth it. Both the wait in line to order and the wait in line to retrieve said order goes by quick! I find that the interior of the resteraunt is always changing, whether it be table layout, cooler placements, something is always different. This time, I noticed that there is no longer a large menu on the wall, but instead, they now have formal resteraunt style menus to read in line. Everything is still the same great taste, just a little different process of ordering. We ordered the famous pork belly taco, the chicken corn Rajas, and the pork loin tacos alongside an order of regular nachos. The food we ordered was far too much for the two of us, but we wasted nothing and packed up the nachos to be reheated over the bonfire. Would definitely recommend only topping half the nachos at a time to prevent anything from getting soggy! The outdoor seating is gorgeous, with light music playing in the background, incredible views, and a lovely breeze. The variety of seating includes tables, lawn furniture, and picnic tables, or the option to toss down a blanket (must bring your own) on the lush grass. The only thing I found overpriced were the sodas - the Jarritos specifically, but the meal just isn't the same without one, so it's well worth the "splurge"! Flavor wise, everything is fresh, hot, made to order, and packed with flavor. You're without a doubt going to need napkins as nothing is ever dry. Everything is always delicately cooked and oozing with juices! They also offer to go style taco kits in the cooler, with all the fixin's! Burritos to go, a variety of salsas & sauces, individual ready to reheat meats, authentic Mexican cheeses, and so much more!
